About This Role

Our vibrant and multicultural school is seeking a committed, enthusiastic teacher to join our team as a Learning Support Coordinator (LSC). This is a 0.2 FTTE permanent position, commencing in Term 2, 2026 (start date and day of work negotiable).


The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in working with and including children with diverse needs, as well as have the skills to grow pedagogy in others. The learning support coordinator will collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including our DP/SENCO, staff, students, whānau, and external agencies.


The Role


The role will involve:



  • Promoting and strengthening inclusive practices across the school

  • Supporting the design, implementation, and review of learning and behaviour plans

  • Support teachers to recognise and respond to learning and behavioural needs


The successful applicant will be approachable, empathetic, solution-focused, and demonstrate a growth mindset when responding to challenges. Applicants must also be NZ registered.
