About This Role

Dubai British School Jumeira is looking to recruit outstanding professionals to join our academic team for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

This is a unique and thrilling opportunity for qualified individuals who are passionately innovative, intellectually flexible, and dedicated to ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate will be a teacher who exemplifies creativity, innovation, and technical proficiency in IT and computing. As a new and swiftly expanding institution, we seek a teacher who can exercise autonomy and flexibility within a secondary computing/IT curriculum while also acting as an integration coach or peer teacher for the primary school. Our curriculum takes an integrated approach, combining design, creative media (Art), and STEM, all linked to IT delivery; thus, the right candidate will be an expert collaborator who works alongside colleagues to provide an exceptional educational experience for our students.

Skills:
- Highly qualified in the relevant area of education for the role applied for (IT or Computing)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience
- A proven track record of consistent, inspirational teaching and learning
- Knowledge and understanding of monitoring student learning and adaptable teaching methods to support students' ongoing growth
- A commitment to the wellbeing of all students
- An understanding of and dedication to broader school life
- The ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, international, multicultural, and demanding environment
