The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate EYFS Coordinator to lead our Early Years Foundation Stage provision. The successful candidate will ensure that our youngest pupils receive the very best start to their education through a curriculum that is engaging, inclusive, and ready for inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and delivery of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring progression and alignment with statutory requirements.
• Mentor and coach Early Years teachers, modelling best practice and supporting professional growth.
• Oversee planning, assessment, and moderation, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the EYFS team.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports all learners, including EAL and SEND pupils.
• Engage parents and carers in their child’s learning journey through clear communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate provision, using data to drive improvement and support inspection readiness.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement planning, aligning EYFS priorities with wider school goals.

Essential Skills & Attributes

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and curriculum development.
• Proven ability to mentor and support Early Years teachers.
• Commitment to inclusive, child-centred learning environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and parents.
• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and inspection readiness.
• Passion for fostering curiosity, independence, and resilience in young learners.
• Experience in a British international school setting.
• Familiarity with BSO inspection frameworks.
• Ability to contribute creatively to school initiatives and events.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
