We are currently seeking an experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities include planning and delivering high quality, purposeful learning experiences that support children’s holistic development, creating a nurturing and well structured learning environment, and working in close partnership with colleagues and families to ensure each child’s progress and wellbeing.
Skills and Qualifications
• A recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related field
• A minimum of two years’ recent and relevant teaching experience within EYFS or a comparable early years setting
• A secure and up to date understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and its practical application in the classroom
• Current paediatric first aid certification, with a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that are inclusive and responsive to individual needs
• Confidence in observing, assessing and tracking children’s development, using assessment to inform next steps in learning
