About This Role

We are seeking an EAL specialist to drive our inclusive education strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with English as an Additional Language in the Secondary School and ensuring the highest quality of provision across the school.

You will be required to be extremely motivated, have high professional standards and a proven track record of success at GCSE and A level. You will be responsible for delivering consistently outstanding practice and working as a team player to enhance teaching and learning across the department. The ability to offer extra curricular clubs and activities, and build links with students in our primary school, would be a clear advantage.

The Role

Applicants are encouraged from UK qualified teachers with at least 5 years’ of relevant teaching experience. Successful applicants will be expected to offer extra-curricular activities and to participate in the wider life of the school.

What We Offer

Upon taking the post, full working residency status in Spain will be required with NIE/TIE in place in advance. We have a strict safeguarding policy in place; as we are an international school you will be required to obtain a certificate from the Child Exploitation & On-line Protection Centre/ACRO as well as CRB Enhanced disclosure or ‘Certificado de Penales/Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza S.’ (Spain).

Compensation

25.000 € - 35.000 € per year (Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications)
