About This Role
Te Takarangi is a vibrant, rural public primary school nestled on the stunning Purerua Peninsula, just a stone's throw from Kerikeri in the beautiful Bay of Islands. We sit proudly in the heart of the whēnua of Ngāti Rēhia, and our connection to this place is the heartbeat of our school.
We are looking for a competent teacher to lead our Year 5–8 tuakana (senior) class starting in Term 3 2026. Ideally you have had training and experience teaching structured literacy. We are looking for a teacher who is culturally grounded with a deep understanding of Te Ao Māori, Tikanga Māori, and Mātauranga Māori.
