About This Role

Have you got the energy, vision and passion for SEN and a good sense of fun to join our team? The Castle School meets the individual needs of 189 students between 4 and 19 years, all of whom have special needs.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, creative and hardworking people to join our team of Bank Classroom Support Assistants.
Whether you're building experience in education, returning to work, or seeking flexibility around your schedule, this role gives you the freedom to choose when you work while still making a genuine difference to young lives.

This isn't just about classroom support - it's about empowering pupils to believe in themselves. As a Support Assistant, you'll:
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential
• Help teachers deliver creative, engaging lessons
• Prepare learning materials and provide one-to-one or small group support
• Celebrate achievements and help pupils build confidence, resilience, and independence
• Be a caring, consistent presence - guiding pupils through challenges and celebrating progress

Each day will bring something new. From classroom learning to outdoor adventures, you'll help pupils discover what they're capable of in a supportive, nurturing environment. You will work across the whole school and in a variety of classrooms so will need to be flexible and adaptable.
