About This Role
Yas School is excited to announce an opening for a dynamic Cycle 2 & 3 Science Teacher to join our team for the academic year 2026-2027.
This is a remarkable opportunity to become part of a leading government institution in Abu Dhabi, dedicated to integrating Emirati cultural values with contemporary global education standards to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about embodying our school’s principles while valuing the rich culture and heritage of the UAE. At Yas School, we follow the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, with a significant emphasis on inclusive education, enrichment opportunities, and preparing students for the future. Established in 2015, we are proud to be the largest single-campus K-12 government school, serving over 1750 boys and girls on our expansive campus.
We are in search of an experienced educator, proficient in UK or US curricula, and preferably familiar with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.
In your role as a teacher at Yas School, you will deliver engaging and impactful lessons designed to enhance students’ academic achievements, personal development, and overall well-being. You'll play an essential part in empowering students to realize their full potential, equipping them to thrive as competitive global citizens while honoring and promoting the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.
As an educator, you will cultivate strong connections and maintain open lines of communication with parents, colleagues, and students, upholding high academic and behavioral standards that align with the school's ethos and policies. You will be dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere where every student is motivated to excel.
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English, evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent.
• Bilingual capabilities (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
