About This Role
Yas School is looking to hire a dedicated Cycle 1 Arabic Homeroom Teacher to join our team in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, or sooner if possible.

At Yas School, we implement the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum with a strong emphasis on inclusive education, enrichment activities, and preparing learners for the future. Established in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government institution, educating over 1750 boys and girls on our expansive campus.
We are in search of a skilled educator with experience in UK or US curricula, and preferably with familiarity with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.
As a member of the teaching staff at Yas School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that promote students’ academic advancement, personal development, and overall well-being. You will be instrumental in enabling students to realize their full potential while preparing them to succeed as competitive global citizens, all while embracing and reinforcing the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.
In your role, you will cultivate strong relationships and maintain open communication with parents, colleagues, and students, ensuring that high academic and behavioral standards are upheld in accordance with the school’s ethos and policies. You will be dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that inspires every student to excel.
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Arabic are highly desirable.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
