About This Role
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs within our school.
We require someone who is kind and caring and able to support a young person socially, emotionally and academically. We are seeking someone who is confident to run individual interventions providing additional support and adapt activities to support inclusion. The successful candidate will be flexible, supportive and willing to develop professionally. You will need to be organised, good with time pressures and able to work within a team. The right person for this unique role will have Early Years experience and be comfortable with speech & language needs and intimate care. You will need to be skilled at building relationships and working in a reactive and often outdoor manner.
Role: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 15 Point 3 currently £24,796 FTE (Actual on 20 hours per week £11,477 per annum)
Contract: Temporary, subject to EHCP funding, initially fixed until 31st August 2027
Part Time: 20 hours per week: Monday to Friday 0830-1230, term time (39 working weeks per year)
