Duties and Responsibilities:
This role is a vital part of the Admissions and Marketing team, aimed at providing outstanding support to all team members while serving prospective students, their school counselors, and parents. The tasks will include managing admissions processes, issuing offer letters, maintaining databases, and responding to inquiries via phone and email. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing, scheduling, and delivering presentations to prospective students (both in-person and online) through school visits, career fairs, and exhibitions.
- Building and maintaining connections with a network of targeted schools, developing an effective communication strategy, tracking performance, and coordinating regular events with key educational institutions.
- Guiding students and parents through various communication channels, providing precise information regarding requirements, program specifics, and pathways for advancement.
- Actively following up on inquiries within the system and consistently updating the CRM by adding new leads and monitoring follow-up tasks.
- Fostering inquiries and applications to improve conversion rates.
- Assessing applications to determine candidates' eligibility for program enrollment, adhering to the admissions policy for UFC programs.
- Producing and analyzing reports from the admissions CRM to monitor ongoing activities (volume and timelines). This includes reviewing data from multiple sources and qualitative feedback to pinpoint challenges, bringing these to management's attention, and proposing process enhancements.
- Collaborating with regional and marketing teams from UFC program providers to ensure timely information exchange and to coordinate essential recruitment events for the Qatari market.
- Overseeing the UFC website to ensure that content updates align with changes from program providers.
- Reporting any system-related issues and suggesting solutions or enhancements.
- Completing any additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have:
- Demonstrated experience in student recruitment (both local and international) within a higher education context.
- A history in a target-driven role, showing success in achieving objectives and managing inquiries.
- A solid grasp of university admissions systems and progression processes towards UK higher education, familiarity with UCAS processes and the recruitment cycle, or a strong ability to adapt within a regulated sales environment.
- A strong educational foundation, at least to GCSE level or equivalent, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of progression requirements for UK universities.
- Knowledge of KPIs and reporting metrics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and content management systems.
- A UK educational background.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Position Requirements:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or a qualification in a relevant area.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the education sector in a role such as an admissions officer or as part of an Admissions and Marketing team.
