Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including those who are EAL, gifted, or in need of additional assistance.
- Incorporate technology and innovative practices to enrich student learning and participation.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, utilizing data to inform instruction and provide personalized support.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Participate in the broader school community by contributing to co-curricular activities, events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Establish strong relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote student development and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
- Embrace and exemplify the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all aspects of school life.
