London Interviews: The Principal and Recruitment Team will be traveling to London in March/April to conduct face-to-face interviews. This is a fantastic chance to connect with senior leadership directly and gain deeper insights into our school and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and diverse learning styles.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the varied needs of all students, including EAL, gifted learners, and those needing additional assistance.
- Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enrich student learning and involvement.
- Effectively assess, document, and communicate student progress, using data to tailor teaching and support.
- Collaborate with peers to develop and improve IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
- Contribute to the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community to promote student growth and wellbeing.
- Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all aspects of school life.
