On site: The position requires work to be performed at the designated location. Remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend educational workshops and conferences
• Discuss students’ progress and outcomes with students, their parents, and school officials
• Assess and document student progress
• Engage in educational conferences and professional development workshops
• Participate in staff meetings
• Provide tutoring support
• Supervise teaching assistants and mentor student teachers
• Assign and grade homework
• Create course content
• Recognize individual learning needs of students
• Facilitate activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, along with school readiness
• Design and implement remedial programs for students requiring additional support
• Prepare subject matter for presentation based on an approved curriculum
• Prepare, administer, and assess tests
• Instruct students through lessons, discussions, multimedia presentations, and field trips

Credentials:

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses

Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
