Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work location: On-site only. Remote work is not available.

Responsibilities:

• Attend educational conferences and workshops.
• Discuss student progress and results with students, parents, and school officials.
• Evaluate and document students' progress.
• Participate in educational conferences and teacher training workshops.
• Engage in staff meetings.
• Provide tutoring support.
• Supervise teaching assistants and mentor student teachers.
• Assign and grade homework.
• Develop course content tailored to students' needs.
• Identify individual learning requirements of children.
• Lead activities that foster physical, mental, and social development, as well as school readiness.
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students needing additional assistance.
• Prepare, administer, and grade assessments.
• Teach students through lessons, discussions, audio-visual aids, and field trips.

Credentials:

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
