Indian Springs School – Principal Position for the 2026-2027 School Year

The Manitoba First Nations School System (MFNSS) is seeking qualified educational leaders for the role of Principal at Indian Springs School, situated in Swan Lake First Nation, Manitoba. This institution caters to students from Nursery through Grade 8, fostering a supportive and culturally rich learning atmosphere. Swan Lake First Nation is an Ojibway (Anishinaabe) First Nation community located in the Pembina Valley Region of south-central Manitoba, near the Municipality of Lorne.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Present a clear Child Abuse Registry Check

Preferred qualifications include:
- A Certificate in School Leadership
- Level 1 & 2 School Administrator’s Certificate
- Experience within First Nations education
- Familiarity with or a willingness to learn about Anishinaabe culture, language, and traditions

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
