About This Role

We are in search of a passionate Director of Physical Education to lead our Whole School Health and Physical Education Department. This Head of Department position will oversee the PE curriculum across all grade levels, with a particular emphasis on the IB DP framework at the High/Secondary School level. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in advocating for physical health, wellbeing, and active lifestyles within our diverse student community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related area (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or leading PE programs, ideally in an IB DP setting
- In-depth understanding of Health and Physical Education curriculum development and assessment
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams or departments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders
- Capacity to create innovative programs that foster participation and lifelong fitness habits
