Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) will celebrate its 19th year of operation in August 2026. The initial VISS campus was inaugurated in September 2007 in Al Taawun, starting with fewer than 200 students. Over the course of 18 years, VISS has developed into a successful network of schools, comprising 2 IB World Schools, which offer the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum from KG to Grade 12, including the IB Diploma Programme. Currently, VISS serves over 5,000 students across five campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality teaching and learning that aligns with the curriculum
•
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, prioritizing student wellbeing and safeguarding
•
Track and assess student progress while offering constructive feedback
•
Establish positive relationships with parents and colleagues
•
Participate in school initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area
•
Valid teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g. VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
•
Experience teaching within an international or Australian curriculum environment is preferred
•
Regional experience is advantageous but not mandatory
