About This Role

Primary Music Teacher

Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to instruct students in Key Stages 1 and 2. We anticipate that the chosen candidate will evolve alongside the department, contributing to the development of practices and ensuring that music becomes a pivotal aspect of school life.

Our department boasts excellent resources, featuring a diverse range of instruments and a comprehensive peripatetic music program, alongside specially designed classrooms that foster and showcase students’ creativity.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a successful and innovative Head of Department who is committed to elevating Music as a prominent element within our school community.

Requirements:


Possesses a Bachelor’s degree pertinent to the teaching subject


Holds qualified teacher status (QTS) and/or a PGCE


An exemplary teacher with experience in Primary education


Capable of delivering consistently inspiring lessons and demonstrating a history of achieving results


Experience in organizing music clubs, assemblies, and productions is essential


A dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students


Willingness to contribute more broadly to the school community


Innovative, creative, and enthusiastic with a proven ability to deliver results


Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage both children and adults


A strong commitment to fostering a culture of high expectations and quality care


Extensive professional knowledge and understanding gained in a well-established educational environment


Familiarity with assessment strategies and utilizing assessments to track progress in teaching and learning


Capability to manage change and perform well under pressure


An exceptional collaborative practitioner with a proven ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
