About You:

We are in search of an exceptional and motivating Head of Faculty - Mathematics Faculty to guide our department and enhance excellence at all key stages. This role involves both teaching and middle leadership responsibilities, and the ideal candidate will be expected to maintain an active teaching load, including delivering A Level Mathematics at an exemplary standard.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualities:

• A dynamic, enthusiastic, and well-qualified individual, holding at least a B.Ed. or a B.A. with a PGCE in Mathematics alongside QTS.

• A proven history of outstanding teaching and learning, with experience in delivering A Level Mathematics and achieving strong student outcomes.

• The ability to balance strategic leadership with an active teaching schedule, exemplifying outstanding classroom practice.

• Capacity to provide clear strategic direction for the mathematics faculty, promoting high-quality teaching, learning, and achievement across all phases.

• A leader who can mentor and develop a team of mathematics teachers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable culture.

• An advocate for continuous improvement, encouraging the sharing of best practices and innovation within the department.

• A reflective and adaptable mindset, focused on solutions and growth.
