About This Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, inventive, and passionate teacher to inspire the bright and curious minds of our primary school students. This role is currently offered as a two-year contract, with the potential for a permanent position thereafter.

Start date: 10th August 2026

Please ensure your applications are submitted by the stated deadline. However, the school retains the right to reach out to exceptional candidates prior to this date. Role Description

We require a highly qualified English-speaking teacher who possesses a teaching degree or teaching certificate (QTS) in Primary Education. Our class teachers are tasked with instructing all primary subjects, except for art, coding, music, German, and physical education, which are taught by specialists. Our primary school caters to students from Year 1 to Year 4, as secondary education in Germany begins at Year 5. We operate as a three-form entry primary school with a total of 12 classes spanning Years 1 to 4. Our educational plans align with the objectives outlined in the German county curriculum for Lower Saxony, with lessons delivered in English using primarily materials from the UK, US, and other English-speaking nations. While prior experience teaching KS1/2 for several years is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. Additionally, knowledge of German is not mandatory, but a willingness to learn basic phrases while residing here will be beneficial.

Please direct your applications to Mrs. Maren Clarke, Principal and Head of Primary.
