About This Role

We are currently seeking a qualified, passionate, and motivated Librarian to join our Dubai Schools campus, starting in August 2026.

Our curriculum is based on American education principles, guided by Arabic values and Islamic principles, aimed at producing graduates who are ready for the future, instilled with pride and tolerance.
The primary goal of the Dubai Schools Al Barsha, Mirdif, and Nad al Sheba Projects is to establish a beneficial partnership between the public and private sectors to fulfill Dubai’s goal of having 100% of Emirati students enrolled in schools rated 'Good+'.
Who are we looking for?
We are in search of an enthusiastic and engaging Librarian to take charge of the Elementary school library’s development and management.
We are eager to recruit individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, understand that change is a gradual process, and are keen to actively share their expertise as the team works towards common objectives. The anticipated growth of Taaleem will provide a wide array of exciting opportunities in the coming years.
You will:
• Hold a recognized Librarian qualification
• Have two to three years of library experience in an educational setting
• Preferably have experience working with local communities and Emirati students and families
• Possess experience in a school environment
• Have recent and successful experience in Library Management
• Be open to working in an American Curriculum School (training and guidance will be provided)
• Be enthusiastic about engaging with Emirati children and their families within our school community
• Exhibit a flexible and positive attitude with a proactive mindset
• Be an innovative and reflective practitioner eager to learn
