Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled EYFS Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year. We seek an enthusiastic early years educator who is passionate about nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence within a supportive and culturally rich British curriculum environment. The ideal candidate will establish a stimulating and encouraging foundation that fosters children’s academic, social, and emotional growth in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.

Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related area, accompanied by recognized Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.


At least 2 years of successful teaching experience in an EYFS setting, ideally within a British or international school context.


Thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and early years pedagogy.


Familiarity with play-based and inquiry-led learning methodologies.


Proficient in observation, assessment, and tracking early years progress.


Effective classroom management skills suitable for early childhood education environments.


Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Job Description:


Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that align with the EYFS Framework.


Establish a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence.


Observe, assess, and document children’s development using both formative and summative assessment techniques.


Provide tailored support to address individual learning and developmental needs.


Keep accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies and safeguarding requirements.


Foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians to enhance children’s learning and wellbeing.


Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.


Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and emotional resilience among students.


Participate in weekly CPD sessions and commit to ongoing professional development.


Engage in enrichment activities and contribute to school events.

Compensation

£2,000 - £3,000 per month
