Tarabya British School (TBS) is accredited by COBIS and follows a Global Cambridge Curriculum. Our educators develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum objectives tailored for Primary grade levels, utilizing computers, smart boards, and various technologies to enrich the teaching and learning experience.

We modify teaching strategies and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of each student. By fostering positive and supportive relationships within a close-knit classroom environment, we collaborate holistically with parents and school counselors to ensure optimal academic and social outcomes for our students.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Education/PGCE or an equivalent qualification from your home country

- A teaching license/qualification from the UK, CA, US, AU, NZ, IR, SA

CONTRACT DETAILS:

Start Date: August 2026

Contract Duration: 1 - 2 years (with the possibility of renewal)

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

Work Permit: Following acceptance of the role, a work permit application must be submitted from the applicant's home country (TBS will provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout this process)

Dependent School Fees: TBS teachers are entitled to free school placements for their children

Housing: A part-furnished 1 or 2-bedroom apartment will be provided (depending on family size)

Vacation: 6 weeks of summer vacation, in addition to national holidays and mid-term breaks

Private Medical Insurance: Provided by the school for TBS employees only. Public health insurance will be available for dependents.

NET Salary: Competitive salary (dependent on qualifications and teaching experience)

Paperwork Requirements:

- Attested academic degrees

- Teaching qualification certificates

- ICPC or equivalent documents

- Marriage and birth certificates (including those of dependents)
