ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s School The Crown is set on expansive grounds that boast exceptional educational and athletic facilities, allowing students to explore a wide array of interests. Our purpose-built campus exceeds 40,000m2 and is located in the heart of Cairo's prestigious gated community, The Crown, in 6th October City. This school is the first in the area to serve students from 3 months to 18 years, featuring state-of-the-art amenities such as a full-size football field, a 400m athletics track, an 8-lane covered swimming pool with a learner pool, an indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multi-purpose courts, and a 522-seat Performing Arts theatre.

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a French Teacher at King’s School The Crown, with a start date in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Design and implement engaging, well-organized lessons that spark intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic rigor. Ensure that learning is tailored to accommodate the varied needs of students, enabling all to excel in accordance with the school’s curriculum and standards.


Assessment and Academic Progress: Employ a variety of assessment methods to track, assess, and support student achievement. Provide timely and constructive feedback to encourage improvement and uphold high standards for every learner.


Promoting the King’s Ethos: Uphold and reflect the values and ethos of King’s School The Crown, ensuring that students thrive in an environment that fosters integrity, respect, and a genuine passion for learning.


Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across different subjects and phases to share knowledge, develop best practices, and contribute to a culture of professional growth and innovation.


Contribution to School Life: Engage actively in the broader school community, including co-curricular and enrichment activities. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and strengthen community ties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A bachelor's degree and PGCE or B.Ed, or a comparable teaching qualification.


At least 3 years of post-qualification teaching experience in the specialized subject.


Experience delivering the UK curriculum up to GCSE and A Level.


Proficiency in using ICT in teaching.


Enhanced disclosure from the DBS or an equivalent background check.

A commitment to the holistic development of young people.


An open-minded approach to their work, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.


A genuine passion for their profession and a proven track record.
