Overview

The British Secondary and High School Section (BSHS) at Taipei European School (TES) is seeking to appoint a dedicated, innovative, and enthusiastic MYP Individuals and Societies Teacher to become part of our team. The ideal applicant should ideally possess experience in teaching MYP Individuals and Societies and appreciate the significance of inquiry-based learning and conceptual understanding in shaping students into successful lifelong learners.

We are in search of a motivated and imaginative educator eager to join a well-respected, vibrant, and forward-thinking institution. The successful candidate will be a remarkable educator who values teamwork and is committed to the comprehensive development of our eager and conscientious learners.

Students at TES come from a wide array of backgrounds and nationalities, progressing to some of the top universities globally. Therefore, we are looking for a teacher who can inspire our students to achieve their ambitions.

As a member of FOBISIA, Taipei European School will not hire a teacher who is currently in violation of a contract with another FOBISIA member institution. This professional standard also applies to all other schools.

Qualifications

TES seeks well-qualified, experienced professionals in their careers. Candidates must have:

1. A Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized university; or

2. A Degree from a recognized university combined with either;

a) A Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) or equivalent, or

b) A Post Graduate Diploma of Education (PGDE) or equivalent.

Compensation

$3,000 - $5,500 per month (Overseas-Hired Package (eligibility criteria apply), Tax-Free)
