We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Sciences Teacher to join our team at Ningbo International High School.
Campus Overview:
- Location: Ningbo, a lively and contemporary city in Zhejiang Province, celebrated for its rich cultural legacy and stunning natural landscapes.
- Curriculum: We follow the US Common Core Curriculum and provide AP courses to equip students for higher education abroad.
- Students: Around 900 students in grades 9 through 12, all aspiring to pursue international education.
- Faculty: Our faculty comprises 40 committed teachers, including 34 international educators and 6 bilingual instructors, who work collaboratively to create a nurturing and enriching learning atmosphere.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Early release on Fridays at 2:45 PM.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience.
- Preferred Major: A degree in a science-related field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- Necessary Certifications:
- Valid Teaching Credential/License.
- Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.

Teacher Duties:
- Create stimulating lesson plans and instructional resources tailored to the varied needs of students.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction to help all students meet their academic objectives.
- Assess students’ academic and social progress, keeping detailed records and preparing progress reports.
- Maintain open communication with parents to keep them updated on their child’s development.
- Collaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to nurture a supportive learning environment.
- Participate in curriculum development and professional development sessions to remain updated on educational best practices.
- Help organize and coordinate school activities and events, both on and off-campus.
