Social Studies Teacher - April 2026

GEMS United Indian School is seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Social Studies Teacher to become a part of our vibrant and supportive school community starting in April 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, prepare, and deliver captivating lessons that are in line with the curriculum and school standards.
- Teach essential subjects using differentiated instruction to cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Employ a range of teaching strategies and resources, including digital tools and technology, to enhance the learning experience.
- Integrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning techniques into daily instruction.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages independence, confidence, and curiosity among students.
- Keep accurate and thorough records of student progress and prepare detailed achievement reports.
- Set and maintain clear classroom routines along with high standards for behavior and academic performance.
- Effectively manage the classroom to ensure safety, engagement, respect, and positive learning behaviors.
- Uphold all school policies regarding discipline, safeguarding, and the well-being of students.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students while supporting their social and emotional health.
- Actively engage in extracurricular activities, school events, assemblies, and educational field trips.
- Prioritize the safety, welfare, and well-being of students at all times.
- Consistently adhere to all GEMS policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
