RAK Academy AL Hamra:

Located in the southern region of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a growing primary and lower secondary school. We deliver a customized UK National Curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8, along with UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school, which covers Grades 6 to 8, is set to welcome its inaugural class in August 2026. Accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), we align our standards with top-tier international British educational institutions and are fully prepared to facilitate ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and inspiring Islamic A teacher to join our dynamic Islamic department at our secondary school.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a relevant discipline.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Understanding of the Ministry of Education's Islamic A curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching and learning methodologies.
• High level of technological proficiency to enhance educational experiences.
• Capability to engage, motivate, and support students.
• A reflective educator who demonstrates creativity and innovative thinking.
• A positive, enthusiastic team member with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to actively engage in extracurricular activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Training in the UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, including Google Classroom.
• Proven history of enhancing student performance.
