Requirements and Experience:
Essential:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or equivalent
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the subject with students
- Experience in teaching GCSE and A Level
- A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience, although applications from aspiring new teachers will be welcomed
- Ability to deliver consistently inspiring lessons and a proven record of achieving outstanding results
- Exhibit strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Show evidence of recent professional development pertinent to this role
- Bring innovative ideas to enhance the department's profile within the school
- Have ICT skills that reflect the role of technology in contemporary classrooms
- Display commitment to the extra-curricular programme
- Dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students in your care
- Possess an innovative, creative, and positive mindset
Desirable:
- Experience working overseas or engaging with international students
