PYP Homeroom Teacher
About This Role
Job Title - PYP Homeroom Teacher
Bishkek International School, a non-profit community institution, aims to deliver exceptional international education within a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment. Founded in September 2011, our school caters to over 450 students aged 2 to 18. Our student body reflects a diverse mix, with half being foreign nationals—children of embassy staff, international organization employees, and those associated with global companies or NGOs—while the other half consists of Kyrgyz citizens. We welcome all students, regardless of their abilities, gender, ethnicity, language, or religious beliefs, and we promote inclusive participation in school activities. BIS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) Commission on International Education. As an IB World School, we provide the IB Diploma Programme, IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), and IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). Additionally, we are recognized as a Cambridge International School, offering the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum for Grades 9-10, and accredited by the Ministry of Education for our national curriculum.
At BIS, we understand that children need both opportunities and motivation to learn. Our institution provides essential opportunities, while teachers play a pivotal role in sparking a love for learning and guiding students through their educational paths. A teacher here is seen as both an ‘Inspirer and Guide.’
