About BASIS International School Shenzhen

BASIS International School Shenzhen opened in 2015 and was the very first school in our network. Originally located in a renovated previous structure, in 2023 the school moved into its beautiful new campus, with the ability to accommodate over 1,600 students in Grades Pre-K – 12 and state-of-the-art facilities for performing and visual arts, athletics, and sciences, in addition to stunning outdoor spaces and gardens. As a Physical Education teacher, you establish a strong foundation of physical fitness and well-being by developing students' sportsmanship, performance, and skills in areas such as exercise techniques, athletic abilities, mindset, and health. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to incorporate and enhance student learning by blending physical education content with other subjects, such as science or history.

You will also:

Work Experience

Who We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
• Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.
