Pastoral Leader

Lancaster Girls' Grammar School is seeking an exceptional and compassionate Pastoral Leader to join our dedicated team. As Pastoral Leader, you will play a key role in promoting student wellbeing, managing pastoral systems, and working collaboratively with staff, students, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive school environment. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to supporting young people, and the ability to develop effective pastoral strategies that respond to the individual needs of our students.

Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School is a forward looking, selective state school with academy status and an outstanding record of promoting academic excellence. Our curriculum is broad and we provide a wide range of enrichment and wellbeing opportunities, and we are proud of our inclusive community. There are currently just over 1,000 students on roll across years 7 to 13. The admission policy prioritises girls from the Lancaster District, but students do travel to us from across Lancashire and Cumbria.
