About This Role

We are seeking a motivated, resilient and adaptable Learning Support Lead to join our supportive pastoral and inclusion team at Seahaven Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.

Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, parents and carers, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs, monitoring progress, promoting positive behaviour and encouraging independence. You will provide targeted support for individuals and small groups, helping to create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.

As Learning Support Lead, you will take a proactive approach to identifying and addressing barriers to learning, working collaboratively with colleagues to raise achievement and improve outcomes for students. You will also contribute to staff development by sharing best practice and supporting the school's commitment to high expectations, evidence-informed practice and continuous improvement.

Your patience, excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships will help students develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference to the lives of young people within a dynamic and ambitious school community.
