We are seeking a committed and talented Early Years Teacher to become part of our team starting in August 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Teach and support children in the Early Years, following the principles of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Promote curiosity and creativity through play-based and inquiry-driven learning strategies.
• Adapt instruction to meet the varied needs of individual learners and encourage overall development.
• Assess and track student progress, keeping accurate records and providing feedback to parents.
• Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive learning environment consistent with IB principles.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, building strong partnerships to support each child's development.
• Embrace school values and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• A university degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, paired with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Experience working with Early Years students, preferably in an international or IB school context.
• Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and inquiry-based learning techniques.
• Proven ability to create a nurturing, engaging, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (basic proficiency in French is advantageous).
• A team-oriented approach and flexibility in a multicultural environment.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
