We are seeking an outstanding Deputy Head of Primary to join our vibrant and ambitious leadership team. The successful candidate will lead learning initiatives, support pastoral growth, assist in managing the daily operations of the school, play a significant role in our strategic planning, and collaborate effectively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Doha Academy School has been delivering exceptional education to families in Doha for over 20 years.

- The Deputy Head of Primary will promote and ensure the welfare of all students within the school.
- Support and effectively implement the School’s Vision & Mission and School Improvement Plan with clarity and commitment.
- Drive excellence in teaching and learning throughout the primary years, valuing both students and staff while focusing on team development.
- Bring experience in leading and managing high-performing educational teams, ensuring appropriate accountability. Prioritizing exceptional learning experiences for all students, you will stay updated with current UK research-based pedagogical practices.
- Review and enhance the pastoral systems in the school to ensure smooth transitions between educational phases.
- Collaborate with senior and middle leadership to implement inclusive and effective changes, providing strong curriculum leadership while maintaining a commitment to academic progress and student well-being.
- Assist in developing assessment strategies to guarantee that each student achieves excellent levels of progress, reflected in solid internal data and internationally benchmarked tests.
- Foster a culture of collaborative, progressive learning that is highly valued among both staff and students, showcasing excellent communication skills and strong emotional intelligence.
