Substitute Teachers (Kindergarten - Grade 12)

Clear Water Academy, a private Catholic institution with around 500 students, offers educational programs from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Situated in the vibrant center of Calgary, Alberta, we foster a lively community of students, parents, and faculty dedicated to upholding the high standards of academic excellence and character development that our school values. As a university preparatory institution, we are in search of educators who share our students' commitment to learning and regard teaching as a calling.

We invite applications for substitute teaching positions (Kindergarten through Grade 12). We seek qualified individuals to step in as substitutes whenever a regular teacher is unavailable, ensuring continuity in the learning experience. As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for executing the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, overseeing the class, and creating a nurturing educational atmosphere.

Successful applicants must hold the necessary teaching qualifications and align with our faith-centered mission, as well as our educational philosophy of Integral Formation, which focuses on nurturing the intellectual, spiritual, human, and apostolic aspects of each child. We welcome applications from new graduates. Previous experience in teaching, substituting, or involvement in child/student-related activities is advantageous.
