Art Technician

We are currently looking to appoint an Art Technician to provide classroom and administrative support to the Subject Lead for Art.

We are looking for someone who will be actively involved in the growth and enhancement of our department. This includes supporting various activities such as trips, workshops and artist residencies, and your engagement will be instrumental in ensuring these initiatives are a success. We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following qualities:

• Proficiency with cameras: you should be able to assist and advise on best practices in both capturing and editing imagery using Photoshop
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently without constant oversight
• Initiative: you should be proactive, suggesting improvements, spotting potential problems before they arise, and bringing fresh ideas to the table
• Background in arts, ensuring you not only have the technical skills to support students if needed, but also the aesthetic understanding and appreciation that is paramount for our department
