Academic Coordinator (Secondary School)
About This Role
Pride ISM is seeking an enthusiastic, strategic, and committed Academic Coordinator to become part of our Secondary School leadership team on a full-time basis, commencing in August 2026.
The perfect candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant discipline; a master’s degree is highly desirable.
- Experience in both teaching and leadership positions within an international school or a similar educational setting.
- A strong understanding of Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum development, assessment strategies, and student advancement.
- A thorough knowledge of CIE guidelines and the school curriculum.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities for effective engagement with staff, students, and parents.
- Skills in utilizing technology to improve teaching, learning processes, and departmental functions.
- A genuine passion for professional development, with the ability to mentor and nurture teachers.
- A clear background check or police clearance, ensuring no issues regarding suitability for working with children.
