Essential Requirements
•
At least 2 years of recent, successful teaching experience
•
Graduate-level qualified teacher
•
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area
•
Qualified Teacher Status along with proof of relevant in-service training
•
Demonstrated experience working with students within the age group you will teach
•
Proven ability to inspire students within an engaging learning environment
•
Experience utilizing ICT to enhance learning
Desirable
•
Master’s degree is a plus
•
Experience in teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
•
Experience with IGCSE and A Level instruction
•
Background in an international school and understanding of the British education system
•
Evidence of setting clear goals and objectives for students that resulted in significant achievement improvements across the subject
•
Knowledge of positive disciplinary approaches
•
Understanding of child development and its effects on behavior
•
Potential opportunity for Head of Year for candidates with the right experience
