About the School

The British Early Years International School (BEYC) is guided by our core values of Play, Individuality, Environment, Resilience, Relationships, and Nurture, which inform all our actions.

Located in Bangkok, we are a premier Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Years institution serving children aged 2 to 6 years. We advocate for a child-led, play-based, and nature-oriented curriculum, seamlessly integrating the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a Reggio Emilia philosophy. This distinctive combination creates abundant teaching opportunities, ensuring that the child's voice remains central to our approach.

Our learning environment is designed to foster growth both indoors and outdoors, featuring thoughtfully curated sustainable toys and resources. We prioritize play-based, meaningful lessons, incorporating engaging hands-on activities for Phonics and Maths. Teachers are encouraged to tailor their plans according to the children's interests while maximizing opportunities for play, nature, and independent learning. Our health-conscious initiative includes a nutritious menu accommodating all allergies and utilizing organic food and cleaning products.

What distinguishes BEYC is our small class sizes and excellent adult-to-child ratios. With a maximum of 16 children per teacher, supported by up to three Learning Assistants, we maintain an impressive 1:4 ratio. Our highly qualified Learning Assistants, many of whom have been with BEYC for years, contribute consistency and strong collaboration in every classroom.

In September 2025, BEYC unveiled its brand-new, purpose-built campus located near our original site. This new facility has been carefully designed to align with our Reggio Emilia and EYFS methodologies, featuring inspiring indoor and outdoor areas that embody our commitment to play, nature, and exploration.
