Sage College, The British International School of Jerez, is looking to hire an exceptional, enthusiastic, and motivating Teacher of Physical Education to join our expanding school community in September 2026.

This is a fantastic chance for a skilled PE educator to integrate into a vibrant international school atmosphere in southern Spain. The ideal candidate will assist in advancing the school's sports initiatives and actively encourage health, teamwork, and sporting excellence.

We invite applications from individuals who may possess leadership experience or have a keen interest in taking on leadership roles in the future, especially in the realm of sports development.

The Role
The appointed individual will:

• Teach Physical Education across various Key Stages in accordance with the British Curriculum.

• Foster a culture of participation, teamwork, and excellence in athletics.

• Actively engage in the extra-curricular sports program, school fixtures, and events.

• Support the growth of our High Performance Sports Programs as needed.

• Organize and take part in sports events, tournaments, competitions, and trips.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s sporting culture.

The successful candidate may also have the chance to teach IGCSE or A-Level Physical Education if appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will
• Hold a recognized teaching qualification.

• Have experience in teaching Physical Education within the British National Curriculum (preferred).

• Be fluent in English.

• Hold an EU passport or possess legal work status in Spain (NIE or TIE), ideally with prior work experience in Spain.

• Be an enthusiastic, student-focused educator with solid subject expertise.

• Be eager to contribute to the broader school community, including extracurricular sports.

• Have experience or interest in organizing sports events, competitions, or school sports trips.

• Valued leadership experience or a desire to develop leadership roles will be an asset.

• Experience teaching other secondary subjects such as Science, English, Humanities, or Mathematics will also be greatly appreciated.
