Job Description:
The ideal candidate will take charge of creating dynamic and effective science lessons centered on Biology within the UK-IGCSE curriculum. You will motivate students from Year 7 through IGCSE, enhancing their scientific knowledge and critical thinking abilities while aiding in their academic development.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Education or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, ideally with secondary school learners.
• In-depth understanding of the UK-IGCSE Biology curriculum.
• Proficiency in planning and delivering interactive lessons that accommodate various learning styles.
• Strong communication abilities in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Capability in effectively utilizing educational technology and resources.
The successful candidate will:
• Teach A-Level Biology.
• Be equipped to teach all sciences at the Lower Secondary level (Years 7–9).
• Exhibit a strong dedication to practical and experimental science.
• Be open to collaborating on curriculum development within the Science Department.
Desirable (but not essential):
• Experience with Cambridge International programmes (IGCSE and/or A-Level).
• Experience in an international or bilingual educational environment.
