About This Role

Avenor College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Mathematics to join our team, teaching Mathematics from KS3 to A Level. We invite qualified Mathematics educators to apply, including Early Career Teachers who can participate in our ECT programme.

At the A Level, students engage with the CAIE 9709 curriculum, following their study of the CAIE 0580 Mathematics syllabus. Our Key Stage 3 offerings include a small Romanian national strand for a select group of students, while the majority follow the Cambridge checkpoint, taking an external examination at the conclusion of Grade 8. The successful execution of our Mathematics learning program is reflected in the students' results and other performance indicators.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
• Strong and adaptable subject knowledge to effectively teach Mathematics across Middle School, IGCSE, and A Level;
• An understanding of student learning processes, with the ability to motivate and challenge students by crafting an engaging learning atmosphere;
• Contribution to curriculum enhancement through updating schemes of work and developing conceptually-driven lesson plans;
• Proficiency in English;
• The ability to inspire trust and confidence among students, parents, and colleagues;
• A commitment to supporting the broader goals of Avenor College;

Timeline:

Compensation

2300 € - 2600 € per month (Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications, along with opportunities for ongoing professional growth and development.)
