Our fourth bilingual campus, BASIS Bilingual School Guangming Shenzhen, commenced operations in Fall 2024, situated in the lively Guangming District of Shenzhen, China. As a Technology & Design educator, you will inspire and nurture students’ innate curiosity by introducing them to fundamental concepts from kindergarten onward. Your curriculum will encompass STEAM subjects, including coding, 3D modeling, robotics, electrical engineering, multimedia, and productivity. You will focus on adopting a designer's approach to tackle real-world problems, enabling students to connect various subjects and apply their knowledge in diverse contexts. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow educators to enhance student learning by integrating ICT content with other disciplines such as art or history.

In this role, you will also:
- Build meaningful relationships with each student to ensure a tailored and successful educational journey
- Support students in achieving academic success, personal accountability, and intellectual growth
- Engage in ongoing professional development, collaborating with peers, and staying current with the latest educational strategies and best practices
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative school environment

Ideal candidates should possess strong ICT-CS skills, and a background in Technology/Design teaching is preferred, along with experience in block-based coding, 3D modeling software, robotics/electrical engineering, and productivity/multimedia.

Work Experience

Who We’re Seeking:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area (degrees in Elementary and Early Education are also highly regarded for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- Experience: At least two years of experience as the lead teacher in a classroom, which is necessary for obtaining a working visa.
- Collaboration: A team-oriented individual eager to learn from and share knowledge with colleagues globally.
