The ideal candidate will become an integral part of the Performing Arts Department at Charterhouse Almaty, a prestigious British independent school launching in September 2026 in proud partnership with Charterhouse, UK—one of Britain's historic institutions, established in 1611.
The person in this role will contribute to designing a Music curriculum and extracurricular activities that foster a lasting love for performance, composition, and musical creativity. We are in search of an extraordinary educator who merges musical talent with a passion for teaching—someone who can cultivate creativity, enhance technical abilities, and build confidence through both individual and group endeavors. The successful candidate will also be actively involved in the broader community and ethos of this innovative school.

The selected candidate will begin in August 2026 to assist with preparations for the school’s opening in September 2026.
Charterhouse Almaty is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to uphold this commitment. The appointment will be contingent upon satisfactory police clearance from the candidate's home country (issued within the last three months), three professional references, and full verification of qualifications.
The successful candidate will need to provide verified copies of degree certificates, academic transcripts, and proof of full-time student status. These documents must be notarized, authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the candidate’s home country, and legalized by the Kazakh Embassy. A valid medical certificate is also required. The school’s HR Department will assist international applicants in navigating this process to ensure timely compliance with Kazakhstan’s immigration regulations.
