We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Teacher of English to join our Secondary Section.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality learning experiences in an international context. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in enriching students’ lives beyond the classroom through world-class wellbeing and co-curricular programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Put student wellbeing at the heart of all you do, providing exceptional pastoral care and creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where all learners feel valued and secure.
Take a research informed approach to planning and delivering engaging lessons that motivate, support and challenge all students.
Foster a positive learning environment where students develop the skills, knowledge and understandings to thrive and succeed.
Contribute to the holistic development of students through active participation in wellbeing and co-curricular programmes.
Model and promote a love of life-long learning, actively contributing to the teaching of skills that will support students to flourish as learners.
Utilise a range of assessment and feedback practices to ensure that students understand their next steps, supporting them with academic and personal growth.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative and exciting learning experiences both within and across subject areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field (required).
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English, ideally within an international or British curriculum context.
Experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, or IB Diploma English Language & Literature is highly desirable.
Strong command of the English language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
