Royal Russell School – Vilnius is seeking a talented Teacher of Art to join our growing team as we prepare to open our new Senior School campus in August 2026, welcoming our first cohort of GCSE and A Level students.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach across all age groups, from Primary through Senior School, and should be capable of teaching (or be open to teaching) IGCSE and A Level courses as our school evolves.

About the School

Established in September 2022, Royal Russell School – Vilnius currently serves students up to Year 9. In August 2026, we will launch our new Senior School campus, offering GCSE and A Level programs for the first time.

Starting in 2026, we will also provide boarding options for up to 30 students from Year 9 and above.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Have prior experience in a UK or international school
  • Deliver engaging and well-organized Art lessons to students of all ages
  • Contribute to the development of IGCSE and A Level Art programs as the school grows
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent artistic expression
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Be enthusiastic about engaging in exhibitions, competitions, and the wider school community
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the learning and development of children and adolescents

The boarding facilities will accommodate up to 30 students from Year 9 and above, and staff may also engage in the life of the boarding community.

Terms and Conditions

Contract: Full-time

Start date: August 2026

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience, according to the Royal Russell salary scale

The school will cover initial flight and immigration costs and provide a local SIM card.

Working hours: Full-time, with additional duties for INSET, Open Days, and school events
