About the Role:
As a Secondary PE Teacher covering a period of paternity leave, you will play a key role in delivering a dynamic and inclusive PE curriculum that motivates students to lead active, healthy lives. You will plan and teach engaging lessons across a range of sports and physical activities, ensuring all students are supported, challenged and encouraged to develop their skills and confidence. You will use assessment effectively to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback, maintaining high expectations for effort, participation and behaviour. Beyond your teaching timetable, you will contribute to the department’s sporting events, fixtures and extracurricular clubs, helping to promote a positive culture of teamwork, fair play and physical wellbeing.
This is a temporary, full-time role covering paternity leave, with a start date of 31/08/2026.

You are an enthusiastic and committed educator who genuinely enjoys working with young people. You bring strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset and the confidence to adapt to change with sensitivity and professionalism. You understand effective teaching and learning strategies within PE, and you’re committed to helping all students achieve their personal best—regardless of ability level. You hold a UK‑approved PGCE or international equivalent, and you are committed to your own professional development. Above all, you have a natural passion for Science, and the drive to share it in a way that inspires every learner.How to Apply:
