Tarabya British School (TBS) is accredited by COBIS and offers a Global Cambridge Curriculum. We develop lesson plans tailored to the specific goals of the Primary curriculum, utilizing computers, smart boards, and other technologies to enhance both teaching and learning.
We adapt our teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning requirements and interests of each student. By nurturing positive and supportive relationships with our students and maintaining a close-knit classroom environment, we work collaboratively with parents and school counselors to ensure the best academic and social outcomes for our students.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education degree in Physics Education/PGCE or equivalent from your home country
- Teaching license/qualification from the UK, CA, US, AU, NZ, IR, SA

CONTRACT DETAILS:
Start Date: August 2026
Contract Duration: 1 - 2 years (renewable)
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Work Permit: Following an offer, candidates must apply for a work permit from their home country. (TBS will provide detailed guidance and assistance)
Dependent School Fees: TBS educators enjoy complimentary school placements for their children
Housing: A partially furnished 1/2 bedroom apartment will be provided based on family size
Vacation: 6 weeks of summer holidays, in addition to national holidays and half-term breaks
Private Medical Insurance: Coverage is provided by the school for TBS employees only, with public health insurance available for dependents.
NET Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and teaching experience

- Attested academic degrees
- Teaching qualification certificates
- ICPC or equivalent documents
- Marriage and birth certificates (and those of dependents)
